Vincent, that plant is actually home grown potato
The cicada is really huge here in Japan (about 2-3 inches). You won't believe the noise they make during their season. Totally annoying and I learned to use earplugs when I go to sleep >_<

Like all of you, I find this hideous creature very creepy... but unlike the rest of you, THE DARN THING IS SITTING ON THE DESK IN FRONT OF ME!!! (She tortures me soooo )Wonderful concept and compostion, Maridol, perhaps a little out of focus as stated above.

Wow! 2 - 3 inches!!!! Ours are only an inch and the noise is incredible. I can understand why you use ear plugs Maridol. :S

The is a great photograph that sufficiently teased my brain that I had to go back and read comments to find out what this critter(s) was. Well, one critter and one vegetable. I initially thought some type of metamorphosis was going on.

I love this type of photo. It gets the storyteller in me going. Excellet work!
